This year, the Community Foundation embarks on a journey to become the most knowledgeable philanthropic resource in Central Florida.  We will do this by bringing you DonorEdge® -- a powerful online tool designed to elevate the exchange between Central Florida’s donors and nonprofit organizations.

The Community Foundation will use DonorEdge® to:

• deliver web-based information about local nonprofit organizations'  management, governance, programs and finances that can influence the behavior of donors to drive results-oriented philanthropy.
• diversify and create new sources of philanthropic capital to meet local needs.
  build the capacity and measurably improve the performance of local nonprofit organizations.

In the coming months we will be contacting Central Florida's nonprofits to provide information about DonorEdge® introductory sessions that will allow you to begin using DonorEdge®.            

While we are working to bring you DonorEdge®, the Community Foundation will not hold the annual competitive “capacity-building” grant round that we have held in recent years.  Grants from donor-advised funds, as well as annual distributions from designated and agency endowments will continue to be made during this process.
